My career started in a different realm as a framing contractor, where the crew and I were the ones who arrived after the concrete was poured and building the house or commercial building began.
During that time, I also managed the books for other contractors on the side, which sparked my fascination with numbers and the computer technology as it pertained to financial management. After a few rewarding years in that field, I made the decision to transition to a bookkeeper full time. To me, each companys' set of books were just as unique as each set of plans for each job that we did. Every job was different and challenging to build.
